Our Philosophy

As a Client of Global

Assisting us to live by our philosophy pays off for you in all sorts of ways.  We will help you work out what the role really requires.  In some cases you don't really know until some trial period has passed.  That's really helpful to know at the outset and assists us in setting the expectations of the candidates we are proposing to place in the role. We won't waste your time sending you lots of CVs of people who can't do the work. We can also reduce the pain of induction by helping you work out how you are going to introduce the person to the organisation.

As a candidate we can offer you an opportunity to be presented for some excellent roles in companies that we have come to know well and trust.  If we believe that one of our permanent or contract roles is not right for you we will tell you sooner rather than later.

Our Commitment

We believe that transparency and honesty are the key ingredients in the relationship that develops between all parties involved in any placement. We know that if the role is clearly defined; if the personal characteristics proven to make the role successful have been identified, and if our candidate demonstrates these characteristics by experience and ability, we have a recipe for success. This clarity enables expectations to be set, and strongly benefits the growth of the relationship between the employer and employee following the placement.
 
Finding the right person for a role and the right role for a person changes lives on both sides. We endeavour to make the process of filling any role as stress free as possible. Sending a well-prepared CV to a client is hard work for us, for our candidates and for our clients, and we don't put a candidate forward unless we think they are suitable. We make this judgement based on our understanding of the role, of the client's internal culture, of the candidate, and after speaking with the candidate's referees. We will also assist in the induction process.
 
We are aware that we need to be cost effective in what we do. To this end we have established relationships with advertisers that are beneficial to us and to our clients, we reward our temps for referring successful candidates to us, and we continuously refresh our internal database. In the instances where extensive advertising is required, we work with our clients to find the best advertising method and how that cost will be shared.
